How is it October already? It’s unbelievable how fast September whizzed by, meaning it’s now less than 100 days until Christmas! (not that I’m counting of course) September has been a busy month for me but I’ve definitely managed to accumulate a few favourites!
Asos trench coat– I bought this trench coat back in July when I first saw it (and fell in love with it) on ‘New In’ on Asos, and September was the first time that the weather had been right to wear it. I wore it throughout our Lakes break, as you can see on that blog post. It completes every outfit, bringing it together, and is perfect for the transitional seasons such as Autumn and Spring!
Candles- TKMaxx, Homesense, Bath and Body Works and Yankee are my favourite shops/brands at this time of year, as they are all filled with autumn-scented candles. I’ve been loving burning candles now we are getting darker evenings.
The Body Shop Banana hair mask– This is my new holy grail hair product, no joke. Trying to keep good quality, dyed hair is hard, but this definitely made it easier, keeping my hair sooo soft and silky, and smelling of the tub all day! A definite favourite, check out that blog post for my full review!
Colourpop Super shock eyeshadow in Wattles– This has been a favourite ever since I bought it a few months back, but I found myself using it more in September as I went through a more ‘natural’ makeup phase. The Colourpop super shock shadow formula will always be at the top of eyeshadow formulas, and this colour is so beautiful for an everyday lid shade, being so pigmented, with a sheen to it, for only $5.
Rimmel liquid eyeliner- My eyeliner had just ran out unexpectedly at the start of the month, and as it is an integral part of my makeup routine, I had to pick one up right away. So I found this in Superdrug, and have really liked using it through September, due to the thin, precise nib, and both the pigmentation and staying power.
Rimmel Cherry on top Nail varnish- I’ve loved wearing this on my nails in September, as it’s a deep berry red, perfect for Autumn. I love berry colours on both lips and nails, so this will always be a winner!
