Autumn is definitely upon us and I am loving it. From the fashion style to long Autumn walks, there is not much that I do not love about this season, so I thought I would share with you just a few things that are making me ready for the digression into the colder months, October in particular.
I have already written a blog post about my favourite berry lips for fall, which includes some of my faves from brands such as Rimmel London and Charlotte Tilbury, that you can see here, as I go into my love for berry toned lips, so I thought I would mention it as I have been LIVING in those deep toned reds ever since September hit.
Now it is time to mention this cardigan. THIS cardigan. Like most of you I’m sure, I love the cosy knits during Autumn, with jumpers being so easy to throw on to make the outfit. Although I have more jumpers than I’d ever need, I had something missing from my wardrobe: a chunky cardigan. So then I spent hours searching on Asos, trying to whittle the many down to the perfect one, which I then found in this one here. I chose mine in cream, but it is also available in a few different colours if you fancy something different, and it genuinely is the comfiest thing ever with it being oversized and thick. I’d definitely look into getting a chunky cardigan if you don’t have one, as they transform a simple outfit as well as being warm.
Next is this Bluebird Tea Company Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea, which I had wanted to try ever since I discovered it after it sold out last year. I love pumpkin pie, tea, and chai tea, so I thought this would be a perfect match for me, and it is. You can have it as either a black or white tea ( I have this black ) and it is perfect for these cold Autumn mornings, making a nice pumpkin difference from your usual tea/coffee of choice.
Lastly is this Essie nail polish in the shade ‘Playing Koi’. I generally opt for burgundy nails during Autumn, but when I saw this shade from their 2016 fall collection on Pinterest, I knew I had to get it, as it really is October in a nail varnish. I love Essie as a brand in general, I find that they really last on your nails for over the week, so I have really enjoyed wearing this on my nails the last couple of weeks.
