Tanya’s Christmas // Review

As December is approaching, I thought today would be the perfect time to give you my view on Tanya’s Christmas, the recently published book on all things Christmas.

As soon as the initial news about the possibility of this book being released broke, I knew that I had to have it. I am your typical avid Christmas fan, and my want for it increased when pictures of the pages started to emerge.Β Therefore,Β I picked it up last month when it was published, and I was not disappointed.

It’s safe to say, now that I’ve read it, that I reallllly like this book. Like really. It’s such a ‘cosy’ book, perfect to pick up and flick through with a cup of tea, and has definitely helped me to get into the festive mood. Including many beautiful photos, recipes and instructions, it is full to the brim with Christmas ideas, from a Christmas cake recipe to a festive hair tutorial. One of the reasons that I love this book is the diversity inside: there’s something for everyone, it is not just solely a recipe book. That being said, I’ve seen many recipes inside that I am eager to try, as well as a guide to cooking a whole Christmas Dinner, which I will find very useful when I have my own home. The whole presentation of the book is just stunning, and would make a perfect gift to any Christmas lover. I can definitely say that I will be keeping Tanya’s Christmas and delving back into it for many festive years to come, being inspired from the wreath making ideas to the festive dog treats recipe!
