Summer look book // my favourite pieces for the warmer months

Although being an avid jean-wearer in Autumn/Winter, as soon as Spring hits i can’t wait to exchange the restricting denim for flowing skirts and dresses. I’m also a big sucker for the pretty blouses, broderie on everything, and mainly a very ‘feminine’ look for the warmer months, loving both the neutral colours with some pops of colour. Therefore I thought I’d share with you my top picks for this upcoming weather, mainly the bits I’ve snapped up myself and what’s on my wish list.

Let’s start with skirts/dresses:

I’ve been a big fan of midi length skirts with natural/wood buttons, finding them really flattering and great for hot weather. Paired with a crop top they’re an easy look whilst also looking like you’ve made a lot of effort. Here is two I’ve been loving already:

A site I’ve loved for Spring/Summer dresses is Princess Polly, an Australian brand. I’ve found the dresses so flattering and made from a light material. This first link is one I LOVE but was originally out of stock and I couldn’t get, and the other two I managed to get last month:

An accessory I’ve had for two weeks and is already my favourite bag is this round straw bag I eventually found from and Etsy store,Β Sunshine and Shade.Β I looked for the perfect straw bag for days and eventually settled on this one, and I am so happy I did. It’s the perfect size and even has a zip; I can see myself wearing this nearly daily for the rest of the Summer.

As for the tops/blouses, here’s a few high street pieces I’m enjoying, including some bargains mainly from H&M:

So there’s my top picks/favourite buys as far as Summer fashion is concerned, hope you enjoy!
